You never know when or why people come into your lives or when they will leave. All we know is our lives were blessed by chance when we met the Colvin's waiting in line at Mohegan Sun for, what else, a Jazz concert! As the years past we would meet up and sit together for many more concerts, we also attended a few of Bob's open mics. Our hearts ache for the Colvin family. We will miss Bob dearly but will carry his memory and music in our hearts!

.....a fine Fellow, and Musician. Always enjoyed playing with him...and sharing the natural laughter and camaraderie that ensued! He will be so missed, especially in the social circles he loved to travel in. Sending him Light.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Good to see that he revived his love of playing the sax. I remember him showing us an album jacket with his name on it and how proud he was of that.

Ann Marie, Steven & Jeffrey,
We were deeply saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. Will always remember him as a loving & deeply devoted husband and father. He was a true gentleman who always greeted you with a big smile that was truly sincere. Unfortunately, it has been many years since our last meeting in ShopRite when he would take Ann Marie grocery shopping. They would liven up the store when they walked in together. Our deepest sympathies and prayers go to the entire Colvin family. May the wonderful memories sustain you in the days to follow.

Ann and family,
I worked with Bob at P&W in Health & Safety, C Building Basement, beginning in 1974. Bob always was a breath of fresh air and very funny, and he made the days go by faster. I was sad to learn of his passing. I know he and his music will live forever in your hearts. Rest in peace my friend.

I am so saddened by my "Buddy's" passing. Over our 40 plus years of friendship we weathered some of the hardest of times and many, many good times. Just a phone call away and Bob was there in a heartbeat, a true caring friend. His love for his family was undeniable. Ann, Jeff and Steve I am heartbroken for your loss. We all have wonderful memories but I still have a hard time comprehending that he is gone. RIP Bob.

An incredible loving and giving man. I don’t think I have ever in all the 52 years that I knew him heard him raise his voice in anger. You will be missed by many. I am sure you have connected with the gang and that they welcomed you with open arms

I’ll never forget Mr. Colvin. He was the kind of neighbor Mr. Rodgers would love. Always there for you, in good times and in bad, always caring and loving to those around him. He was a wonderful man. I will miss him and will continue to keep his family in my prayers. Lots of love. Your neighbor, always.
