

Rogelio Vazquez-Gonzalez, 59, of Hartford, passed away peacefully, surround by his loving family, September 16, 2014. He was born in Puerto Rico, a son of the late Domingo Vazquez and Palmira Gonzalez. Rogelio worked as a driver for Stericycle and Entrega Roof Tiles. His weekends were reserved for his friends and family to enjoy salsa music, dominos and a game of pool. He is survived by his beloved wife Felicita Maldonado, his daughter Darlene Vazquez of Hartford, three step-daughters Jessica Leon of Hartford, Arlene Hernandez of Hartford and Shirley Cintron of Florida, one step-son, Alexander Cintron of New York, three brothers Teodoro Vazquez of New Jersey, Manuel Vazquez of Puerto Rico and Landin Vazquez of New Jersey, one sister Teresa Vazquez of New Jersey and sixteen grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his many extended family members and friends. His funeral service will be held Monday September 22, 2014 at 11AM, at the Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, CT, burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford, CT. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday September 21, 2014 from 2-6PM.
