Shelley A. Williams

Shelley Williams, 68, of Manchester passed away on November 5, 2024, peacefully at St. Francis Hospital after fighting Alzheimer’s dementia for 8 years. She was born in Hartford, CT and was the daughter of the late William and Patricia Belch of East Hartford. Along with her parents, her husband, Grover Williams of Arkansas, predeceases her. In her younger years, she was a nurse’s aide for several years after being the co-owner of a wholesalers store in Palestine, Texas. Shelley’s passion was antiques and she owned a few antique stores in the Hartford County. In her later years, she enjoyed crocheting blankets and the beach.

Shelly leaves behind her son Jason Biddle and his fiance, Jessica of Manchester, her daughter Patricia Biddle of East Hartford, along with her sister Cathy Fishman of Florida and her brothers William Belch, Jr. of Colchester and John Belch of Manchester. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Casey, Anthony and Jasmine of East Hartford and many nieces and nephews. Shelley was loved by all she met and will be missed dearly.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 10-12 pm followed by a funeral home service at Noon.
