Theresa (Gendreau) Cyr, 90, of Vernon, CT, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2018. Theresa was born in St. David, Maine, the daughter of the late Adolphe and Alice (Dube) Gendreau. She was the wife of the late Joseph Arthur Cyr. She was a proud mother, Memere, and Grand-Memere. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Gail Morton of Ellington, CT, and Lisa Roche and her fiancé, Robert Brulotte of New Britain, CT; her sister, Laurette Lizotte of Madawaska, Maine; her grandchildren, Stephanie Carroll, Bethany Carroll, Michael Carroll, Jr., David J. Roche, Stacey Munn, Melissa Cyr, and Brandon Cyr; her great-grandchildren, Scott Lopez, Jr., Landen Lopez, Cameron Roche, and Tessa Munn; her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and her beloved cat, Oreo. Theresa was predeceased by her sons Guy Cyr and Daniel Cyr, her grandson, Kevin Cyr, and her son-in-law, Howard Morton. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home; 318 Burnside Ave East Hartford, CT with a service at 11:00AM. Burial to follow at Northwood Cemetery located on Bina Ave, Windsor, CT. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 13, 2018 4-7PM at the funeral home.
