Tina Kimberly Marie Fontanez

Tina Kimberly Marie Fontanez, 24, of East Hartford, died as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Hartford, a daughter of Rafael Fontanez of Hartford and Omayra Gonzalez of East Hartford. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her five sisters Elaine Fontanez of Manchester, Amanda Fontanez, Diana Marie Gonzalez, Laysha Fontanez and Alanna Santiago, all of East Hartford, her four brothers, Rafael Fontanez, Jr of Hartford, and Lawrence Torres and Andrew and Monte Fontanez, her maternal grandmother Edith Hernandez of East Hartford, paternal grandmother Catalina Fontanez and grandfather Santiago Cartagena both of Hartford, several aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday January 27, 2018 at 11AM at the New Antioch Baptist Church, 161 Nelson St., Hartford, CT 06120. Burial is private. Visiting hours will be Friday January 26th, from 4PM-8PM at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, CT 06108.
