Walter F. Trzcinka, 94, of East Hartford, died Wednesday April 6, 2011. He was born in West Warren, MA, a son of the late Ignacius and MaryAnn (Konopka) Trzcinka. Walter was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Ponyta) Trzcinka in 2005. He is survived by his daughters Geraldine Norton and her husband Peter of Wethersfield, Pamela Yurgel and her husband Stephen of Tolland and Valerie Ratchford and her husband Michael of North Carolina, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday April 9th at 9:30AM from the Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, followed by his Liturgy of Christian Burial 10:30AM in Our Lady of Peace Church, 370 May Road. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, all in East Hartford. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-7PM.
