Wayne Sam Clark Jr.
October 14, 1964 – February 26, 2019
Wayne Sam Clark, Jr. 54, passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital. Wayne was born on October 14, 1964, in Presque Isle, ME., but had been a resident of East Hartford, CT most of his life.
He was known to have a kind heart and a gentle soul. He enjoyed very few things but trips to the casino was definitely his favorite. He also enjoyed cooking not just for himself but for others and wouldn't take no for answer, even if you weren't hungry you had to take a plate. His fear of snakes kept him from fishing but he did enjoy it. He was a very hard worker and was one of the few people in the world that could lift a car transmission on his own like it was a card board box. He was anxiously waiting the arrival of his granddaughter Savannah Rose who is expected in April.
He is survived by his parents Harriet Singh and Wayne Clark Sr., his beloved girlfriend Brenda Brown, his sisters Wanda Clark, Pamela Clark of East Hartford, his brother George Clark of Chaplin. He is predeceased by his brother Daren Clark, (who left behind a wife) Marsha Lazure Clark of East Hartford, by his five children Kristen Clark of East Hartford, Reighel Waugh of Presque Isle, ME., Tuesday-Marie Clark of Hartford, Wayne Clark III of Hartford, Sydney Clark of Hartford, grandchildren; Danice Laura-Rei Beaulieu, Kyriah Brooklynn Zetterman, Benton Russell Levesque, long time friend Douglas Boyer of East Hartford, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Service celebrating Wayne's life will be on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 1:30pm at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery immediately after. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral Chapel on Friday from 11:30am to 1:30pm. I miss my time with Wayne when i used to work at the donut shop and get his coffee after towing. He would joke around with me.. After getting to know him for awhile, i got to know the rest of the family. Then as i worked at Shaw's, he would pick me up on Fridays to go to Mohegan Sun. I will always cherish the time i spent with my friend and all the mischief we got into...Thanks to him i got to know the meaning of family.

Dear Wayne it was so sad to hear that you have left us so soon. Arialis is sad to hear that she has lost a second adopted pepe. I met you at Wednesday night bingo at the Blessed Sacrament. In East Hartford. My granddaughter says to me that man looks just like my pepe. You were a very nice man. You could make anyone laugh especially Brenda. It was a pleasure to know you. My deepest sympathy goes out to your family that is left behind to miss you so very much. May you R.I.P. my dear beloved friend.

Wayne i will never find a man so loving, caring, and sincere like you. I still can't believe you're not here. I enjoyed the times we had but i did not know it would end so soon. My favorite memory is when i missed my bus at foxwoods because i couldn't find my 80 year old friend. I asked can you bring us home and you said yes. I knew right away you were a gentleman. Wayne i thank you so much for also taking good care of my daughter. I know you want me to be strong but it's so hard because i have my moments.Always remember i will love you forever.

I remember when Wayne use to go fishing in his camper down at Horse Pond in Salem CT.. He also fished at Black Ledge and 8 mile... My favorite memory of Wayne is from the day I married his brother Daren. I was just about to feed Daren some cake when suddenly Daren smashed the cake into Wayne's face. Wayne then took a piece of cake and smashed it into Darens face...The smiles on their face were priceless. I hope that Daren and Wayne are in heaven catching some fish together xoxox my heart goes out to the entire Clark family / Argraves family his children, Brenda and Wayne's friends. A special thank you to Tami Rosa, my thoughts are with you as well xoxox
