Alice Carolyn Korneffel (Potter) was born July 5, 1944 in Pontiac, Illinois. She died July 27, 2016 in East Lansing, Michigan. She was the daughter of Carrie and Jerry Potter, and sister to Marjorie Krull (Potter). Alice graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in psychology, zoology and business administration. Alice was a wonderful chef, crafter and gardener. She loved movies and books, long bike rides, art festivals and watching MSU sports. She retired from Naperville, Illinois-based Nalco in 2011, where she was a marketer.
She was the mother of Stephanie Cepak (Korneffel) and mother-in-law to Tony Cepak. She was also the grandmother of Morgan Cepak. She is survived by Stephanie, Tony, Morgan, Marjorie and her husband Don, her nephews, Scott and Steve and their wives Julie and Beth.
