Allen Matthew Jackson

Allen Jackson Sr., was called to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at his home. He was born in Tuckerman, AR and lived to be 85 years old. He passed away peacefully in his home with Dorothy at his side. He was the last living member of his immediate family.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Frank H. Jackson Sr., and Ruthie Johnson Jackson, three brothers, Frank H. Jackson, Jr., Fred Jackson and Charles Jackson, two sisters Velma Clay and Rosa Lee Tuberville.

He was married to his loving wife Dorothy on November 25, 1966 for 59 years. Two children were born to this union, Kimistri (Kelvin) Hall of Southfield, Mi and Allen Jackson, Jr., of Indianapolis, IN, and one son Farley Jackson of Tuckerman, AR and four lovely granddaughters, Jaiden Jackson, Kaela Hall, Shantel (Justin) Chism, Jasmine (Halston) Peel, five great grandchildren whom he loved very much and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins and many many close relatives and friends.

After a full career starting in education, college and school teaching Math and science, working for two fortune 500 companies, Corning Glass and General Motors. Allen studied at National Science Foundation at the Nuclear Institute, received his Master's Degree from Fisk University (HBCU) in Nashville, TN. Allen retired from General Motors Corporation where he worked in Human Resources and Industrial Hygiene and Safety Engineering. In 1998 after retirement be began Legal Shield business.

Allen was affiliated with Phi Beta Sigma, Inc fraternity and many other organizations. He was very interested in "change" growth and improvement in your chosen field. Allen had a wonderful sense of humor and doing things in decent and good order.

Rest In Peace

Visitation services will be held at Paradise Missionary Baptist, located at 3403 Franette Rd, Lansing, MI, 48906, on November 14, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. An additional visitation will occur on November 15, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the same location.

A funeral service is scheduled for November 15, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Paradise Missionary Baptist.
