She is survived by her loving family, husband, Barney Roepcke; daughter, Jennifer Ross (Jeff Ross); grandchildren, Alison and Charles Ross; sister, Sandy Kaplan; numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, long haired dachshund, Rebel.
Barb was a force to be reckoned with. Her strength and determination were on full display until her death. She had an exceptional gift for landscaping, remodeling and cooking. She transformed many homes and landscapes for not only herself, but many friends and family. She and Barney combined their talents for many remodeling projects. Including their most recent home. Her hospitality and cooking were always fabulous. Many special memories were made with her celebrations and parties. Gram touched Alison and Charles’ lives with her loving heart, creating many awesome Halloween costumes, lending support for various school and 4-H projects, sharing her love of art with Alison, and always having a fully stocked candy drawer.
