She is survived by her son Clarence (Jane) Weiss; George’s children, Ron (Marcie) and Joyce (Dr. Richard Lawrence); daughters-in-law, Marion Schram and Phyllis Nickles; grandchildren, Carrie Mersino, Scott, Kim and Mark Schram, Debbie Brown, Grant and Ted Lawrence and 15 “great grands”; several much loved nieces and nephews. Bea was a member of Mason Bridge for over 50 years and was the truest of True Blue Michigan football fans. She was an avid reader, talented quilter and knitter who made many treasured gifts for her family until her eyesight and arthritic hands defied her. Bea’s life would be honored by doing the things she most loved. Fix a meal for your family and sit down together enjoy it, take a walk each day as long as you are able, play a good hand of bridge, instill the love of reading in a child and always, always vote. A private family remembrance will take place at a later date. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Green Acres of Mason, whose hard work, kindness, good humor and friendship made Bea’s last days better. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.greastlansing.com
