Bert E. Anderson

Died January 30, 2015 in Lansing, MI. He was born March 6, 1925 in Indianola, PA to Joseph and Elsie (McCorkle) Anderson. He is preceded in death by siblings Curt Anderson, Walt Anderson, Richard Anderson, Joseph Anderson Jr., Elsie Welling, Ruth Anderson, Edna Ritz and Alice Vukovich. Surviving is his spouse of 66 years, Joyce; sons Douglas (Diana), David, Jeffrey (Gail) and Scott (LaVonne); eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great-grandchild;sister-in-law, Maxine Anderson; also half-sister Martha McGregor.

Bert was a WWII veteran of the Air Corp. He worked in Mexico for 4 1/2 years as a consultant to GM De Mexico at The Planta Des Motores in Ramos Arizpe and retired from Oldsmobile after 30 plus years. He loved wood-working, traveling, fishing, visiting his place on the lake and being with his family.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 5th, 2015 at Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
