Beverly loved bicycling, knitting, gardening and was a member of Lansing Coast Guard Auxiliary and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Clayton, they were married in 1951, her parents Calvin and Stella Smith, sisters Marilyn Smith, Della Kulak, brothers Kenneth Smith, Carlton Smith and Roger Smith.
She is survived by daughters, Sue (Merle) Hemmila and Debra (Larry) Fegueer; sons Pat (Peggy) Townsend and Tim (Melinda) Townsend; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers Calvin (Alice) Smith Jr., and Tom (Doreen) Smith, sisters Donna Green, Mary (Ray) Dykhause and Elaine Smith.
