He lived in Lansing, Howell, Ionia, Fl. and Houghton Lake. He graduated Eastern High School. He served is the U.S. Army.
He worked for Consumer Power Co. as an area manager and retired in 1981.He loved his family and time spent at Houghton Lake.
He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Violet.
Surviving are his wife, Nyama; daughter, Susan (Robert) of Mesa, AZ; two sons, Scott (Janice) of Dewitt, Mark (Becci) of Ada; a brother Howard of Houston, TX; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
There will be no formal services. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing Chapel.
