Cecil was proceeded in death by his mother Rose, and brother Glen.
Cecil was an avid sports fan and loved his LSU Tigers (Geaux Tigers) and New Orleans Saints. Cecil was very artistic and enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, two tracking and home improvements. He was a hard working man who couldn't sit still for too long. His sense of humor was enlightening. Nobody ever went hungry at his table-Cecil was a great cook and pretty good on the grill although Michelle could out grill him any day.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Michelle; daughters, Aryn Headley, and Lauren Lindemulder; grandsons, Braedon and Azrael; step-father Art Cornell; sisters, Rusta (Tommy) Sexton, Ruth Murphy, and Bobbie (Paul) Curtis; brother, Joe (Suzy) Simmer; many nieces, nephews and in-laws. He will also be missed by his three dogs, Jake, Nala and especially Doobie Doo.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018, 12:30 p.m. at the American Legion, 5480 Clark Road, Bath, MI 48808.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.greastlansing.com for the Headley family.
