Chong Sun Yun

Chong Sun was born on October 21, 1948 in Daejong Chun, South Korea, to Yang Chi and Oak Dong Chong. She married her beloved husband, the late Sok Sun Yun, in 1968. In 1976, they migrated from South Korea to the United States, where they continued to raise their growing family. Chong Sun took delight in gardening but above all else, she woke each day to be a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren and a devoted Christian servant to her Lord and Savior.

Chong Sun is survived by her children, Song Min Yun "Matthew", Song U Yun "Sean", and Song Yol Yu (Sang In Shung); grandchildren, Isabella, Nino, Joey, Ethan, and Stella; and her siblings. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Sok Sun Yun; son, Song Chol Yun "John"; and her parents.

A graveside service for Chong Sun will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at East Lawn Memory Gardens, 2400 Bennett Rd., Okemos, MI 48864.
