Born November 20, 1931 in the Bronx, NYC, New York to Frederick Stroh and Elsie Kramer, passed away September 21, 2011 at the age of 79. She lived in Butler, PA for 30 years, in Richmond, VA for 20 years and Hayward, CA for 3 years. Claire moved to East Lansing in 2005. She loved gardening, cooking, crocheting, travel and enjoyed having conversations about politics. Claire was preceded in death by her husband Harold Pollard; son, Matthew R. Miller and her brothers, Frederick and Richard Stroh. She is survived by her daughters, Lori A. Miller, Suzanne M. Miller; sons, Raymond R. Miller and Michael F. Miller; grandchildren, Sarah Miller, Katie Williams and Anna Miller; great grandchildren, Ayden Williams and Sophia Sprouse and former husband, Raymond L. Miller. No services will be held.
