Clella M. Weissinger Dickinson

Born May 6, 1917 in Haslett, MI; passed away on July 3, 2013 at the age of 96 in Haslett. She retired from Michigan State University in 1977 as the assistant payroll manager after more than 30 years. She served as treasurer of the MSU Alumni Association until 2008. She was a charter member of the Lake Lansing Baptist Church in East Lansing, MI for more than 55 years, serving as an instrumentalist for more than 50 years and treasurer for more than 40 years. Clella was preceded in death by her mother, Dollie Beulah Juckett; father, Albert Frederick Weissinger; and brother, Gerald Weissinger. She is survived by her sister, Winona Kirby, Lakeland, FL, and step-daughter, Sharon Dickinson, Lantana, FL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2:00 p.m. at Lake Lansing Baptist Church, 5960 Okemos Road, East Lansing, with the Rev. Robert Grimwood, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Okemos. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E.
