Clinton served in WWII in the Air Force. In 1948, he married the love of his life, Eleonore Hutschenreuther, in Munich, Germany. Later, he became a successful experimental sheet metal worker. He also loved to sing karaoke and play the harmonica. Clinton had his pilot’s license and flew single engine planes.
Clinton is survived by his wife of 71 years, Elly; daughter, Doris Jean Prince with husband, Doug; son, Eldred Sadler with his wife, MaLeia; son, Dale Sadler with wife, Jill; grandchildren, Doug Prince, Eric Prince, Ellie Prince, Ryan Sadler, Lynsey Sadler, Clayton Sadler, Joseph Sadler and Jessica Sadler; 5 great-grandchildren and twin sisters, Dona and Mona.
A memorial service will be held on May 10, 2019 at 12 noon at Gorsline Runciman Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will welcome guests one hour prior to the service.
Interment will occur in Marlette, MI.
