Cynthia Ann Thrush

She was a retired Registered Nurse, spending the majority of her career at Lansing General Hospital in Intensive Care and Labor Delivery, and at St. Lawrence Hospital in OutPatient Surgery.

Her many interests included her love of animals and wildlife, including her precious cats. She was especially talented in art, taking drawing and painting classes at LCC and MSU, displaying several of her art pieces in her home. She loved decorating and gardening as evidenced by her beautiful flower beds. She loved to cook and entertain, especially around the holidays. Most recently she enjoyed photography and traveling, taking a trip to Italy, California and another trip planned in 2025 to Paris. She always enjoyed music and attended numerous concerts.

Cindy is survived by her son, John Steven Thrush, Jr; granddaughter, Sarah Joy Thrush; brother, Gregory Walker (Tamara) and nephews, Ryan (Amanda) and Greg Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Walker, Jr and Lucille Walker (Cook).
