

Delores Ruth Lentz (Magee), aged 93, passed away on November 20, 2024, in Haslett, Michigan. Born on May 17, 1931, in Lansing, Michigan, she was a lifelong resident of the area and a cherished member of her community.
Delores graduated from Sexton High School and spent a significant part of her career working at the Bank of Lansing, which later became CoAmerica, dedicating 20 years of service. She later joined Hudson’s/Macy’s, where she worked for an additional 10 years. Beyond her professional life, Delores was an avid bridge player and a member of a bridge club for over four decades, a testament to her love for the game and the deep connections she formed with fellow members.
Described by those who knew her as always kind, very thoughtful, and genuinely nice, Delores's sweet nature touched many lives. Her personality and warmth drew people to her, making lasting impressions on friends and family alike.
Delores is survived by her loving children, Deborah Sue Lentz Arnold (Douglas) and DeLynn Kay Lentz (Denny Spray). She was a proud grandmother to Stephen Douglas Arnold, Natalie Nicole Arnold, Braden Lentz, and Jennifer Lentz Kalis. She also cherished her great-grandchildren, Presley Kalis, Carly Kalis, and Salene Kalis. Along with dear friends Kathy Kern and Sophie Ridenhour, will also hold her memory dear.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Merritt Theodore Magee and Helen Rachel Steimel, and her beloved husband, George V. Lentz, her siblings, Bud Magee and Vernon Magee, and granchildren Ashley Lentz, and Kalyn Lentz.
A visitation for Delores will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823. Her life will be celebrated and remembered as one filled with kindness, dedication, and a deep love for her family and friends.
A visitation for Delores will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823.
