Born in Flint, Michigan, to Frank and Elizabeth Paul, Dianna dedicated her life to her family, embodying the essence of a devoted stay-at-home mom. A resident of Medilodge of Okemos in her later years, Dianna found joy in simple pleasures like gardening and whipping up delicious meals for her loved ones. Her warm and sociable nature made her a beloved figure among both family and friends.
Despite facing unimaginable loss, including the passing of her husband, James Sr.; daughter, Marie; son, James Jr.; brother, Ronald; and her parents, Dianna remained a pillar of strength and positivity. Her unwavering loyalty to her family knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with them, especially the calls from her grandson, Heath.
Survived by her grandson, Heath Patrick Smythe and his wife, Jennifer Nicole Smythe of Phoenix, Arizona; along with grandchildren, Brian and Eric Frace; and great-granddaughter, Breslynn Louise Smythe, Dianna leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will forever be cherished.
In the hearts of those who knew her, Dianna will be remembered as one of the kindest souls, a shining example of unwavering strength, and a true social butterfly who brightened the lives of all who crossed her path.
