He was a Veteran of WW II.
He married Lucille in 1946 and they had six children.
He was a ‘flyer’ all his life — as was his goal since first he saw an airplane flying overhead as a young boy. He was a flight instructor for the military and civilian/commercial entities. He flew executive aircraft for the oil & gas industry, land development and many other concerns. He flew salmon off the beach in Alaska, mail, gambling junkets, firefighters, politicians, astronauts' wives, delivered aircraft to Africa and shuttled disabled aircraft cross country along with many other interesting adventures.
