Doris A. Imshaug

Born Doris Anna Lauterbach, to Matilda Lauterbach (Bose) and Frederick Lauterbach, in Brooklyn NY on July 3, 1927. She studied engineering at Hofstra University. While there, she met and later married Henry Andrew Imshaug.

Doris traveled and lived around the world, while raising her family and supporting Henry's research.

She has served as the chairperson of the Meridian Township Planning Commission.

Doris studied the art of Ikebana, while earning advanced degrees, and teaching numerous classes.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Henry Andrew Imshaug. She leaves behind four loving children, Fred (Connie Cummins), Susann (George Kangyal, dec.), Doug (Liane Stark), and Rick, and a loving grandchild, Melina.
