Doris G. Wicksall (Calomeni), age 79, passed away on August 17, 2024, in East Lansing, Michigan. Born in Mt. Clemons, Michigan to parents Edward Thomas Calomeni and Doris Gertrude Misener, she was a proud alumna of Michigan State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
Doris is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, James "Mike" Wicksall; her children, Russell (Erin Housefield) Wicksall, Teresa (Scott) Long, Michel Wicksall, and Donald (Melissa) Wicksall; her siblings, Mary Darlene Gomber of Nokonis, FL, and Richard Thomas Calomeni of Smiths Creek, MI; and her cherished 10 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Forster Woods Adult Day Center, located at 211 Hillcrest Ct., East Lansing, MI 48823, in memory of Doris.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 16th at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish at 11am. Family will accept visitors starting at 10am.
