Alzubaydi, Dorothy (Rankin) died December 13, 2016 at the age of 72. She leaves her loving husband John of 50 years; 4 children; Sam (Olga) Alzubaydi of Midland, Mike (Xia) of Alpharetta, GA., Jean Bennett (Keith) of Marietta, GA., and Todd of Stutgart, Germany; she also leaves behind 3 grandchildren; Alicia, Michael Jr. Alzubaydi and Ian Bennett. Dorothy was an officer for 15 years with the Lansing Chapter NSDAR, serving as membership chairmen, registrar, corresponding secretary, treasure and many additional committees. Dorothy was also a member of MMGS, and friends of the library of MI.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2016, at the Okemos Community Church, 4734 Okemos Rd, Okemos, MI 48864.
