Born June 16, 1923 in Pontiac, Michigan to James and Nellie Bulock, passed away on February 22, 2012 at the age of 88. Dorothy had a very strong will and was stoic till the very end. She was a very thoughtful and giving person. Dorothy had a very strong faith and attended Okemos Community Church when she could. She was preceded in death by her husband Maxwell and granddaughter Colette. Dorothy is survived by her children, Lynda Barnes and David Haddix; grandchildren, Nicole (Bryan) Fillingham, Kristin (Nathan Michael) Barnes and Ian Haddix; eight great-grandchildren; one sister and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, from 2-5 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave, East Lansing. A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Visiting Nurse & Hospice, 2316 S. Cedar, Ste 600, Lansing, MI 48910.
