I met Eliza when she was a young girl and Patty kept me updated as Eliza was growing up and going to school and college.

Eliza and I always shared a special bond growing up. In class teachers would remark on having two Eliza’s and she would always point out that we also had the same birthday! I was always Eliza G. in order to differentiate from Eliza B. (Even outside of school or when we weren’t in the same class 🙂).

My thoughts are with the whole family, we were all lucky to have the time we did with Eliza B. 

I am so sorry to hear the loss of beautiful Eliza. I remember that her smile always brightened the room. Peace and blessings to you all.

Eliza and I were next door neighbors and childhood friends since kindergarten. I have fond memories playing with our American Girl dolls, eating Mrs. Brookover's tuna sandwiches at the kitchen bar, and looking through our bedroom windows to wave good night at the end of the day. Eliza was my very first friend and I will cherish all the sweet memories I have of her.  Mr. Brookover, you are in my thoughts, my heart, and my prayers.❤️

We first met sweet little Eliza in the fall on a football Saturday in East Lansing at her home.  She was so smiley sitting on the floor in the sunshine...We will always remember her and the lovely way Patty called her name.
