Ernest Wayne Lilly

East Lansing

Born December 27, 1960 in Charleston, WV to Gary and Marrilyn (Stricker) Lilly, passed away May 1, 2015 at the age of 54. Ernest served in the US Marine Corp from 1979 to 1986; he worked at Kalamazoo Auto Body for many years and was a gifted auto body technician. He once had a car on display at the Lansing Civic Center and was an avid NASCAR fan with Dale Earnhardt being his favorite driver. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Lilly. Surviving is his wife, Jennifer Lilly; daughter Amanda Lilly; granddaughter Ellie Marie Lilly; parents Gary and Marrilyn Lilly and sisters, Linda (Paul) Campbell and Kathy (Kirk) Conrad. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 1755 Abbey Road, East Lansing, MI 48823 in memory of Ernest.
