

She also is preceded in death by her son, Richard L. Hartley. She is survived by daughter, Mary Anne Cooley of East Lansing; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Joyce of Showlow, Arizona. Also we honor her dear friend and employer, Linda Peets from Haslett Community Daycare where Sally was employed for 26 years and retired at age 82.
Our dear mother had five siblings who are now deceased. We honor them here. Sally was a stay-at-home mom and also worked at Hebblewhite Kitchens in Frandor, was active in real estate in the late 1950s thru 1970 working for Burton Realty and Ehinger and Musselman Realty. She was an industrious and hard working mother and dear friend to many. She attended LCC and wrote a novel in the 1990s. We are proud of her accomplishments. She was creative and loving and will be missed by her family.
A memorial service will be held Monday, December 4, 11:00 a.m. at the House of Prayer, 9974 E. Old M-78, Haslett, MI. A luncheon will follow the service.
