Age 98, went to be with her Lord on March 18, 2014. Mrs. Drullinger was born July 23, 1915 to Benjamin and Blanche Carter in Lake Odessa, MI. She graduated from MSU in 1939 with a degree in music and later worked for the Crop and Soil Science Department.
She was a long-time member of Trinity Church. She was in many Bible study groups locally and in Silver Springs, Fl, where she and her late husband spent winters.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She took great pleasure in her family, her garden, playing piano, and baking pies for family and neighbors.She married her college sweetheart, Richard H. Drullinger, in June 1939 and he predeceased her in December, 1986. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Louise Sacha of Holt, and Alice Crissman of Toledo, OH, and her brother, Lt. Col. Olin Carter of California.
Surviving is one daughter, Carol (James) Sauers of Hurricane, UT: three sons: Robert (Elena) Drullinger of Boulder, CO; Rick (Lynda) and David (Rhonda) Drullinger of Holt; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Agnes Lipsett of Webster, NY.
The family will receive friends at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing, MI, 5-7 pm, on Sunday, March 23rd. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Church, 3355 Dunckel Road, Lansing, Mi 48909, 1:00 pm, Monday, March 24, with visitation one hour prior. Officiating will be Pastor Royce Allen, Trinity's Care Ministries' Pastor. Interment will be at East Lawn Memory Gardens, Okemos, MI.
