Frank was a husband, father, papa, and friend, but more than titles, he was the kind of man who showed up. Family meant everything to him. He took pride in his home, his yard, and doing things the right way. If the grass wasn’t straight, it wasn’t done yet.
Frank had a sharp sense of humor, a laid back attitude, and a way of making people feel comfortable just being around him. He valued independence, hard work, and personal responsibility. One of his favorite sayings summed him up perfectly: “If it is to be, it’s up to me.”
Frank is survived by his wife of 40 years, Julie; sons, Frankie (Emily) and Anthony (Ellie); daughter, Angela (Rob); and his beautiful granddaughters, Angelina, Gia, Sofia, and Maizy. He is also survived by his siblings, Philip Sanzica (Kelly), Steve Sanzica (Kelly), Tom Sanzica, and Cathy Mylonakis (Pete). He will be remembered not just for what he did, but for how he lived, steady, loyal, and unapologetically himself.
A memorial service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held on January 30, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman East Lansing Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave. East Lansing, Michigan. Family and friends are welcome to attend and share stories, laughs, and memories in the way Frank would have wanted.
