Frieda Frances Juola was born on a farm near Hillsboro, Oregon to parents Frank and Pauline (Prevsek) Pleshnik. She graduated from Forest Grove High School. During WWII Frieda worked at Oregon Shipbuilding Corp. as a burner. Later she attended Portland Business School then worked as a secretary. She enjoyed traveling, golf, gardening and stitchery. Frieda was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Arvo Juola, and by brothers Alois and Frank Pleshnik, and sisters Frances Noyes and Pauline Van Dehey. She is survived by her son Doug (Annette) of East Lansing, daughter Dawn (Bill Bauer) of San Diego and grandchildren Lindsey (Alex Hempy) and Brian of San Diego. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
