Gale Ann Fleming

Gale Ann Fleming died on March 1, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on June 8, 1956 to Marian and Bernard Laginess in Detroit, MI. She attended Inkster High School and, later, Michigan State University. She was interested in gardening, sewing, and loved spending time with her family. Gale also very much enjoyed working in children’s ministry at Meridian Christian Church. She is survived by her husband Raymond and three children, Sarah Sturgeon, Andrea Kocher (and husband Derek Kocher), and Joseph Fleming. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren with one on the way (Aiden, Kaela, Torren, Zoe, and as yet unborn baby boy named Duncan) and her brother Gary Laginess and Jan Gardynik (married to Greg Gardynik). She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother Ron Laginess.
