Hind Gamel Khoury

Hind Gamel Khoury passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011. She lived her 88 years with high integrity and deep love for her family. She was a school teacher for 35 years and was an active member of the Presbyterian Church in her native town Deirmimas, Lebanon.

Hind was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Khoury and her brother, Abe Gamel. She is survived by her daughters, Sabah (Bassam Makhoul) and Hilda (John Mansour), granddaughter, Talia Makhoul; nephews, Maurice and Ronald Gamel and niece, Denise Almas. Extended family of Fawaz, Khoury, Abood, Nakfour, Hourani, Skory, Mondalek and Corey.

Hind’s family is very grateful for the loving care she received from relatives and caregivers at Burcham Hills.

A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 510 W. Ottawa St., Lansing with Rev. Dr. Jeffrey S. O’Neill officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing.
