Ilene E. Casper Moelter

Ilene E. Moelter at 88 passed away on September 1, 2010. She was born in St. Johns, Michigan on December 22, 1921 to Edward and Albina Casper. Her husband, Robert, of 61 years preceded her in death. Two brothers also preceded her in death, Charles Casper of Fenton and Raymond Casper of Mason; and one sister, Thelma King of Leslie. She leaves a daughter, Jackie L. (Rodger) Frisosky and grandson William Robert; one son, Daniel R. Moelter of Bakersfield, CA; a step-daughter, Gloria (Bob) Stragier of East Lansing; 2 step-grandsons of Holt and 3 step-great grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews. Surviving are a brother, Edward (Alice) Casper of Mason and sister, Evelyn McClung of Mason. She also leaves her dog Jennie. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
