Jacob Meseroll Brake

Jacob Brake was born on October 10, 1990 in Woodstock, NY and passed away on January 31, 2016 at the age of 25. Jacob was “One of a Kind” and a true tinkerer. He loved vintage bikes and mopeds and he was a shrewd negotiator. He was an exceptional hard worker and took pride in the work that he did. Jacob enjoyed spending time with his family and was very loving and affectionate. He was his mom’s favorite. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Meseroll and grandfather, Walter Shuran. Surviving to cherish his memory are his parents, Laura (Matt Collier) Meseroll and Bob Brake; daughter, Braelynn Tullis; siblings, Adam (Melinda) Tensen, Tatiana (Sam) Morreale, Josh (Julia) Brake, T.J. Meseroll, Lauren Collier, David (Lindsey) Brake, Sam Collier, Sophia Brake; and special niece, Jaden Brake; grandmother, Julia Shuran; grandparents, Dick and Kathy Brake; great grandmother, Mary Alice Schacherbauer and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the service. For those desiring, contributions may be made in Jacob’s memory to Lansing Teen Challenge, 510 W.
