Heaven gained a sweet soul. He made a huge difference to so many in his short time on this world. I appreciate his help and support thru counseling me through a difficult time when I became fully Deaf. He will definitely be missed!

Dear Deb and Ali,
I am so sorry to be sending this message to you so far past the passing of your son.  I wanted to attend the visitation but was unable and didn't know your address to send a card.  I do not like sending a message this way, but I wanted to let you both know how saddened I was to hear about Jahan.  What a privilege it was to be part of his miraculous recovery and know that he did achieve his ultimate goal of returning home, even if it was for a short while.  He was such a pleasure to work with and your support went way beyond any family support I've ever witnessed.  I hope you feel comforted knowing you played such a huge part in his recovery.  I pray that you find peace and comfort in your beautiful memories of Jahan.  Again, my sincerest condolences to you and your family.

So sad to learn of Jahan leaving us. I had the pleasure of having him as a student at ELHS and working with him on our theater productions there. I enjoyed keeping in touch with him over the years since then. He will be missed by many people and I will think of him often.

Jahan was an incredible person. I am really bummed that I didn't get to know him better over the time of working with him, however what I was able to understand was that he was a kind hearted, funny, and creative person. He desperately wanted to help people and to be the therapist he wished he had access too. The world has lost a bright star especially his ASL/Deaf community! We will miss him terribly and send so much love and healing to his family and friends!

I am so very sorry for your loss.  I met Jahan when we moved to Indianapolis in 2015.  He was such a sweet, caring person.   Sending my deepest condolences.

I have been blessed throughout my professional life to meet some pretty exceptional people.  Jahan was definitely one of them who captured my heart. What an angel walking he was and now he is an angel in heaven.  Will so miss his little smirk at me when I’m acting a fool.   Heaven gained a great one! Love you Jahan!!

I will never forget going to Music Therapy with you, and having an impromptu dance and drum session with you and the instructor.

I will miss our conversations, they spanned from surface level to deep introspective aspects of life.

But most of all, I will miss your heart of endurance.

We both had to learn how to walk again. I am so proud of you for enduring far longer than I had to, and succeeding. You won. You walked again. You won this life. You snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

My sincerest condolences on the passing of Jahan.  I have many years of memories serving side by side with him attending Mich Coalition for D, HH and Db People meetings and planning for Camp Chris.  He was so passionate in his goals and serving the community.

I'm sorry to hear about Jahan's passing. He was a truly remarkable individual, and I was fortunate to have known him. During our time together as counselors at Camp Chris Williams, Jahan was always there to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement to both the campers and his fellow counselors. Jahan's presence brought joy and positivity to everyone around him, and his absence will be deeply felt by many.

My thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember him as a very kind and generous man. Whenever I saw his smile, it would bring a smile to my face. I will miss that smile 😃.

You were always such a kind and loyal friend. I'm so glad I got to visit you one last time in this world. See you in the spirit world my friend.
