James Masselink Winter

Born July 26, 1943 in Holland, Michigan to John and Sadie Grace Winter, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the age of 68. James attended Michigan State University and was a very avid MSU Alumni. He was a retired accountant. James loved fishing and golfing with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Audrey; sons, James (Kathryn) Masselink Winter, Jr. and Matthew (Melissa) Boone Winter both of Traverse City; step-son, Benjamin Scott Vogt of Haslett; 6 grandchildren, Colby, Lucas, Jenny, Natalie, William and Alexander; brother, John (Catherine) Winter and his loving golden retriever, Mandy.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing with the Rev. Douglas A Bradshaw officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the chapel.
