

Jean Elouise Hawley (Koziol), of Bath, went to be with her Lord and husband, James R. Hawley, on Sunday, July 28, 2013. She was a graduate of C. K. McClatchy High School in California in 1950. She is survived by four daughters, Charon Hawley (Hasse) of Bath, Patti Gossett of Bath, Sandy Marker of Sanford and Elaine Hawley of Bath; two sisters, Marion Hayes (Stockton, CA) and Beverly Hicks (Allen, OK); eight grandchildren, Wendy Malaikel (Sijith), Jason Hasse (Kimberly), James Gossett (Kimberly), Marlena Patterson (Hasse) (Thomas), Sarah Woodcock (Josh), Stephanie Gossett, Branden Marker, and Mary Marker and fifteen great grandchildren.
Jean was a fun-loving mother and grandmother who will always be remembered for her great laugh and quick wit. She never let her children down when they needed her, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
She was born in Sacramento, California, on November 29, 1931. At the age of 19, she fell in love with a soldier, Jim, who was from Michigan, so they moved back here in 1952. They were married for over 46 years. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Edward Stephen Koziol, Goldie Fern Parkinson (Greer), and her brother Paul Koziol.
The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing.
