Jeffrey John Stillman

Born May 21, 1958, in Lansing, MI to John and Marlene (Hart) Stillman, Jeff graduated from Okemos High School (Class of 1977) and earned an Associates degree in Fire Science and Advanced EMT from Lansing Community College.

Following in his father's footsteps, Jeff dedicated 33 years to the Meridian Township Fire Department, exemplifying courage and selflessness. He was also a passionate supporter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Santa's First Responders.

Jeff is predeceased by his parents and survived by his brother Scot (Amy), niece Susan Jo, longtime partner Gloria Hestra and family, uncle Maurice Hart and numerous cousins.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Sparrow Hospital's Intensive and Critical Care Units, the loving caregivers at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Chase and the Staff of CC Rehab, and Julie of Revier Works. Special thanks to his firefighting brethren and friends Montgomery (Monty) Nye, Rudy Gonzales, Paul Cullimore, Tom Oxender, and Jim Keck for their unwavering support and friendship.

A memorial will be held on January 29th, 2025 at Gorsline-Runciman East Lansing Chapel located at 1730 E. Grand River Ave. Lansing, MI 48823 starting at 12pm, family will begin receiving visitors starting at 11am. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Michigan in Jeff's honor.
