Jewel "Jay" Theresa Bos

Born in Pigeon, Michigan on February 27, 1940, the daughter of the late Walter and Jewel (Pinkston) Clabuesch. She was a graduate of Pigeon High school and then attended and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s in English Literature. She married the love of her life, John E. Bos on June 24, 1961, in Pigeon Michigan. Together they celebrated 61 loving years together.

Jay is survived by her husband; John E. Bos, her three children; Julie Bos, Jonathan (Tracey) Bos, and Jeffrey (Terri) Bos; her loving grandchildren, Meghan (Maggie Clay) Slocum, Nic (Esparanza Oviedo) Slocum, Maxwell (Tabitha) Bos, Benjamin Bos, and Riley Bos; her one great-grandchild, Luciana Oviedo-Slocum; her sibling; Frederick Clabesch, and sister-in-law; Linda Clabuesch.

Jay is preceded in death by; her parents; and her late brother, James Clabuesch.

A memorial luncheon for Jewel will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at University Club of East Lansing, 3435 Forest Road, Lansing, MI 48910.
