I was very sad to see the news about John. I started my 22 year GM career wtih him in Memphis. He took me under his wing on day one and once introduced himself as my 'second mother' actually to my mother! Loved his sense of humor. Our thoughts and prayers are for him and with his family.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I know that the last few years were challenging for both of you. Deb, your dedication to and your patience with your husband was a beautiful thing to see. I don't have any memories of John before his illness, but I can say that when another friend posted about the "twinkle in his eye" I knew exactly what they were talking about - he never lost that. God Bless you and your family and take care.

John's passing was a very sad suprise. I had the pleasure of working with John a brief time while we were both living and working in Memphis Tennessee. John was well liked, respected, and appreciated by our Oldsmobile dealers and all of his co-workers. Our prayers are with Deborah, Jeffery, and the entire family.

We are sorry to hear about John's passing. We began our careers at Oldsmobile together and I remember how dedicated he was to Oldsmobile and the Michigan State Spartans. While geography separated us during our careers, we enjoyed being together at company functions reminiscing about our time together in the Detroit zone. He was fun to be with and always had a positive view on almost any subject. He will be missed. Chuck & Diane Strong (Johns Creek, GA)

Jeff – Your father was a wonderful man and I am glad I had the opportunity to meet him while residing in East Lansing. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

I was so sad to hear of John's passing. He was such a nice man that always had that special "twinkle in his eye" that put all at ease when you were spending time with him! He was lucky to have you Debbie as a caregiver and wife. It's a tough job. Thank you for sharing him with all of us at the MAC.

Thought and prayers are with you-

John Angell was the most honest, sincere person that I have had an opportunity to know. He believed in what he was doing and always wanted to do the right thing. While the past few years have been difficult for John, he will always be remembered as a friend...a person with honor, integrity and always a smile and a good word.

May God bless Debbie and the rest of John's family as they celebrate a life lived fully.
