John graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in January of 1949. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War (1950-1952) and retired from the State of Michigan (Department of Public Health) in 1984.
John is survived by his wife, Loree (Esch) McNaughton; daughters, Brenda (Dennis) Reed and Leanne Norton; step-son, Ronald James “Jim” Pierle and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
It was John’s wish to be cremated with no services to be held.
The family is forever grateful to Residential Living/Hospice and The Willows of Okemos for their caring staffs.
