

Joe was a proud US Army Veteran of WWII. He loved his family and his Catholic faith and was a kind, considerate and hard-working man. Joe was a generous man, always willing to help anyone. He delighted in his Kurta sense of humor. Always one to enjoy a Detroit Tigers baseball game, he also loved cookies and strawberry ice cream.
He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Cecilia, as well as brothers John, Andrew, Edward and sister Mary. He is survived by daughter Kathleen, son Allen, grandson Mark, sister Ethel, nieces, nephews and friends.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Student Parish, 327 MAC, East Lansing, on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Mark Inglot officiating. The Rite of Committal will take place at All Saints Cemetery in Waterford, MI, on Wednesday, December 22 at Noon. Visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing, on Monday, December 20, from 5-8 PM.
