Judith Kay

Judith was born June 29th, 1940 at Goodrich Hospital in Goodrich Michigan to her loving parents Amos Milton and Lillian Mae Gee. She was one of three children. Judith proudly graduated from Onaway High school in 1958. Soon after, she married her first husband Edward Hakala. Judith and Edward had two children prior to their divorce in 1963. In 1973 she remarried, wedding Dr. Bernard Kay. She and Dr. Kay share 25 yrs of wedded bliss and with joy and privilege raised six beautiful children together. Over the years, Judith dedicated time working for Detroit Osteopathic Hospital, Martin Place West Hospital, Kay Pediatric Clinic and Hyacinth House Floral Shop where she has touched the lives of so many who knew her. She is survived by her children Mark, Jeffery, Randy Theresa, Lisa and Kevan; her Grand Children Jatana, Joshua, Trevor, Rachel, Elisabeth, David, Kara, Addison and Aidan and her Great Grand Children Samantha, Gracie, Audrie, Benjamin and Emma. Judith is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Bernard Kay and parents, Amos and Lillian Gee. She was and will always be remembered as a loving, kind and wise mother, sister and friend and she will be missed by all.
