Kathleen M. McKane Klinger

Utica

Age 84, formerly of Ocala, FL, died December 11, 2010; born December 19, 1925 in

Lansing, MI to James and Irene (Purchis) McKane. Kay retired from the State of Michigan and

enjoyed her retirement in Ocala, Florida, playing golf, ceramics and volunteering through her church,

Joy Lutheran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, in March 2010.

Surviving are her children, David Klinger (Laura) of Macomb, Jamie Spellicy of East

Lansing, Greg Klinger (Alissa) of Cheboygan; grandchildren Kristen Parker (Chris),

Rachel Cunningham (Ed), Shannon Klinger, Gabe, Max, and Abby Klinger; great-

grandchildren Kaitlyn, Hannah, Emilie and Jack Cunningham, and Zachary, James and

Grace Parker.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 17, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary

Lutheran Church, 6301 W. St. Joseph, Lansing, MI, with the Rev. Thomas E. Pederson

officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
