I worked with Laura when she was at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. So many fond memories of her. She loved the veterans and staff she worked with - always so friendly to everyone. I had the privilege of having lunch with her every day, and we shared so much laughter! A beautiful soul she was. My condolences to her family.

Hunter and Alexis I first met your mom when she was 18 and I was 19. She worked at Fox Jewelers with me for a couple of years. I loved working with her because she was halarious. She would torment the managers with jokes and tricks all the time. There was one in particular she would always poke fun because he graduated from the same high school. The other manger would always laugh when she did. We reconnected much later after she had the two of you via Facebook because she married your dad who is a great friend of ours because my husband Rob and I went to school with him. I love all of her posts about you and your travels and sports. She loves you so much. I look forward to meeting you in person. Your mom has the best laugh it makes me laugh. I am so sorry for your loss and if you need anything we are always here.

Gary much love and hugs and please call on us for anything, anytime. 😘

Hunter and Alexis; I worked with your mom for about the last 15-16 years and she was such a hard worker and loved to get people what they needed. She loved nothing more than to talk about the two of you and all of your activities. She always called Alexis her mini-me! I will miss her great smile and loving personality. We miss her very much.

Gary; she was such a great person, great worker, and a great friend. I am so sorry for your loss.

I knew Laura when she was a little girl. Her family moved into the home next to ours on Beeman Rd. Although I only knew her for a short time, but I remember her kindness, curiosity, and zest for life. I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Your family is in my prayers.
