Lev Grachikovich Gazaryan

Lev Grachikovich Gazaryan was 75 years old when he passed on Sept. 01, of 2023 at Burcham Hills of East Lansing, Michigan. He was born on Dec. 29, 1947 in Armenia to Maria Vartanyan and Grachik Gazaryan.

Lev was married in April of 1973 in Baku, Azerbaijan to Lyudmila Agabekova.

He graduated from high school of Baku city in 1965. He then graduated with honors from Petroleum College of Baku in 1971. He then graduated from Azineftekim University of Baku in 1982 with a Bachelor’s degree as an engineer - geophysicist.

Lev served in the USSR military from 1965-1968. He was employed as an assistant manager from 1963 to 1973, then as a manager working at the Azneftegeophysika Company until 1989. Lev came to Lansing, Michigan with his family in 1993.

Surviving Lev is his wife, Lyudmila Agabekova; children Karine Gazaryan and Andrey Gazaryan; siblings, Zarifa Gazaryan, Ludwig Gazaryan, Flora Gazaryan, and Maretta Vardanyan; cousins, Lyudmila Petrosova and Mila Ishkhanyan; niece and nephew, Sara Petrosova and Gevory Ishkhanyan. Preceding Lev in death are his parents, Maria Vartanyan and Grachik Gazaryan.
