      I was shocked, surprised and very sad to hear of Linda's passing.  We were at Palmer College of Chiropractic together in the early ' 70's and I do recall she was quite the rebel - rouser, energetic, committed to changing the world, smiling, remarkable woman back then who obviously only improved as she continued her life's work with delivering health care and  showing her family how to Life Well.......  She must have fullfilled her reason for being here on Planet Earth.....but many of us wish she were here still .............. still making a difference  :(.   I will light a candle for her and may she rest in peace...... & her children live in peace.

I'm sorry to hear about linda, I went thru school with linda, & had some good times, again I'm sorry for your loss.

I was so stunned to hear of Linda's passing from a colleague at fall CE @ Life University this weekend. There are no words to express how this has affected me, let alone my desire to reach out and hug each one of you wonderful girls who have grown onto the amazing women and doctors that you are today. My gratitude for having shared in your early lives & being given the inspiration to become a chiropractor as well, by your amazing mother has been very deeply felt. She will be missed by you all. After saying good bye to my long time friend yesterday and hearing all the wonderful accounts from those that loved her, my first thoughts this morning were of Linda.
Her compassion was beyond measure. I was remembering her partner, Lorraine. Lorraine became ill and Linda took her in and cared for her all through her final days. It was just the right thing to do and Linda was there. 
I was in her office, on Hamilton Rd, the day she told me her mother had died. My heart went out to her as she told me the circumstances. Her grief outlet was to keep working and caring for others that day.
We had a friend that made the best granola. Linda would barter with her for her chiropractic adjustments.
She made sure that those in need got their care and worked out details for payment any way they could afford.
She was tired of paying rent on the Hamilton Rd. property and was looking to build her own place. My husband at the time, found a note his father had tossed in the trash that there was property across the street for sale. It was a small lot that he was not interested in purchasing but Bob saved the information and contacted Linda. 
It was exciting to be with her while she manifested her dream. At the ground breaking, she planted a crystal to brings light and love to her place of healing . We decorated the rooms together. She made sure that there would be a space for children. She gave me credit for choosing the name of her Well Being Center. 
It has been a long loving friendship we shared. She knew I loved her and I knew she loved me. We would hug and tell each other often. She loved my children and grandchildren too. My son, Joe, told me yesterday that she has been in his life forever. My daughter, Nicole's, first job was at the Chiropractic Well Being Center
Llinda was a little woman with a huge heart. She may be gone but her love lives on.
Thank you for letting me share here what I could not say to everyone at her celebration yesterday.

Although a recent patient of Linda's, my wife and I enjoyed our time spent while being adjusted and uplifted by the quick wit and spunky spontaneity that only Linda could get away with. We considered her as a friend as well. She is dearly missed.  Bret & Kris Oleksyn

Linda and I met on a trip to Europe with the National Guard.  We became friends and met for lunch and dinner many times.  We had sort of drifted apart, for no reason, other than busy lives and I was so shocked and sad to learn she had passed away.  She was so much fun and always so proud of her family.  My condolences to each of you.

Dr. Linda started as our family chiropractor and over the years became an extension of our family.  She loved teasing Adrian about his soccer injuries and always made me laugh by asking if he'd been carried off the field recently.  She always cared about my girls' education and activities and encouraged them to do their best in everything. She supported their fundraisers and came to Elena's graduation open house.  We truly thought of her as family and will greatly miss her smiling face and words of support and wisdom. She was never afraid to speak her mind, and though I may have cringed a time or two, I admired that about her.  May she rest in peace and may the memories of her life continue to comfort and inspire all who loved her.

Dr. Denise, Dr. Jean Guy, children and the entire Rassel family. You are all in our hearts and prayers at this time of sadness. Our deepest sympathies surround you, along with a wish that God heal your hearts and the ache will pass quickly. Dr Linda was my second chiropractor in 1978 during my first year of MSU.  This was 2 years after my decision to become a chiropractor.  She further solidified my decision to pursue this wonderful profession!  She had unending passion and energy for what she did!  She was and still is a huge reason why I still Absolutely love being a chiropractor as I approach my 30th year in practice.  She exuded love, truth, and commitment to this profession and I will forever remember one of her ads in the Meridian Mall that stated emphatically the "Chiropractic is good for EveryBODY". Rosanne and I were very sad to hear of Linda's passing. We started out in Chiropractic about the same time and served on Life U's board together.She was a great contributor to the profession and a beautiful person. Our condolences to Linda's family.

Dr. Linda was an icon for Chiropractic in Lansing and in Michigan. She was someone I looked up to in the early years of my practice, and stayed credible and respected all through her career.

I am shocked and saddened to hear that Dr. Rassel has passed away. My deepest condolences to the family. Dr. Rassel practically worked a miracle after a back injury. Even she wasn't sure she would be able to help, but she completely did. She will be greatly missed.
